Peaceful Pixie is a dedicated photo editing and print card layout tool designed for fine-art photographers, artists, and creators. We believe in privacy by design: the application runs primarily as a client-side tool directly within your web browser.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal data you may entrust to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we access, how we use it, and how your data is safeguarded when you use Peaceful Pixie, including our integration with Google APIs.

2. Information We Access & How We Use It

A. Local Photo Processing (Client-Side)

When you upload or drag photos from your local device into Peaceful Pixie:

• All cropping, scaling, border calculation, matting, color styling, and 300 DPI print rendering occur 100% locally on your device using HTML5 Canvas technology.
• Your original photos and generated print card graphics are never uploaded to, hosted on, or stored on our servers.
• When you download single cards or bulk ZIP batches, the files are generated directly in your browser's memory.

B. Google Drive Integration (Optional)

Peaceful Pixie offers an optional integration with Google Drive to make importing your photography and saving finished cards seamless:

• Photo Selection via Google Picker: With your explicit consent, Peaceful Pixie opens the official Google Picker to allow you to select photos stored in your Google Drive. We only download the image data for the specific files you select.
• Save to Google Drive: If you choose the "Save to Drive" feature, Peaceful Pixie will create a dedicated folder named Peaceful Pixie Cards in your Google Drive and upload your finished print-ready cards directly into that folder.
• Scopes Requested: We request https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly (to display image preview thumbnails in the picker) and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file (to read selected photos and save finished cards). We do not request access to unrelated files, emails, or personal contacts.

C. Nano Banana AI Photo Studio (Optional Gemini Enhancement)

If you choose to use the Nano Banana AI editing features:

• Your selected photo and your editing instructions are securely transmitted directly from your browser to Google's Gemini Generative Language API (generativelanguage.googleapis.com).
• The AI-processed photo is returned directly to your browser session.
• We do not retain, catalog, or use your photos to train any proprietary artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

3. Data Storage, Credentials & Security

• No User Accounts: Peaceful Pixie does not require account creation, logins, or passwords.
• Credential Storage: Any API keys or OAuth tokens you provide or authorize are kept strictly in your web browser's volatile memory and local storage (localStorage). They are never transmitted to our web servers.
• Encryption in Transit: All communication between your browser and third-party APIs (Google Identity Services, Google Drive, Gemini) occurs over industry-standard HTTPS encryption (TLS/SSL).

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

The only third-party service providers involved in the operation of Peaceful Pixie are:

• Google Cloud & Google Drive: To facilitate user authentication, photo selection via Google Picker, and AI photo enhancement via Gemini (only when invoked by you).
• Static Web Hosting: Hosting static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files to deliver the web application to your browser.

5. How to Revoke Access

You have complete control over Peaceful Pixie's access to your Google account at all times:

• In-App Disconnect: You can click the "Sign Out" or "Disconnect" button in the Google Drive menu within the application at any time to clear your active session token.
• Google Account Management: You can permanently revoke Peaceful Pixie's permissions by visiting your Google Account Third-Party Permissions page and clicking "Remove Access."

6. Children's Privacy

Peaceful Pixie is a general-audience creative tool and does not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
